For Non-Members

If you are not a garden member and you want to volunteer your time, please use the Contact Us form. Instructions regarding proper attire and safety procedures will be included in the emailed response as well as a Release of Liability form. That form must be completed and brought with you on your first scheduled workday.

Volunteers may be utilized for harvesting, mulching, weeding, watering, and other maintenance tasks and are always required to be supervised by a garden member.

Student volunteers are welcome for harvesting, hauling, weeding, and mulching, with supervision required.

Care must be taken by all visitors to the Garden. The grounds leading up to the garden are hilly and can be difficult to traverse and the pathways inside the garden fence are heavily mulched with wood shavings. It is especially important during the dry season to watch where you step because the ground can often have deep cracks in the dirt as it dries out in the heat. It is TEXAS!
